Student-Led Movement Takes Its Mission of Suicide Prevention and Campus Culture Change Across the United States
UNITED STATES — October 2026 — ISKA is proud to continue its support of The Fight Against Suicide (TFAS), a growing student-led movement using combat sports, education and community engagement to help transform the conversation surrounding suicide prevention on college campuses.
Founded in 2021 in memory of UGA student, athlete and fraternity brother Sam Asbury, The Fight Against Suicide is working to build a culture that meets students where they are — physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually — while redefining how suicide prevention is approached on campuses across the country.
