I’d like to thank everyone very much for all the support we’ve received over the last few days concerning California State Athletic Commission’s appointment of ISKA as an approved sanctioning organization for Kickboxing and Muay Thai. And I’d like to especially thank CSAC Executive Officer, Mr. Andy Foster, for his endorsement.
We fully recognize the responsibility of this privilege and intend to serve the California combat sports community in the same manner that we’ve been honored to serve others, throughout the U.S. and around the world.
As we roll out our operation in California, we intend to welcome everyone who shares the culture and ideals of ISKA. That begins with the frank recognition that our sport IS NOT about the sanctioning body. It’s about THE FIGHTERS. Second, we believe that HELPING Promoters be successful fuels the engine of growth and opportunity for our athletes. And third, we are committed to helping officials grow and advance in the sport and receive the respect and appreciation they deserve.
This is a simple formula. Since 1986, it’s worked for ISKA around the world. It will work in California. Let’s do this together!
