MADEIRA, Portugal — June 20, 2026 — The beautiful island of Madeira once again played host to one of Portugal’s premier combat sports events as the 4th edition of Madeira Fight Night delivered an exciting evening of championship kickboxing in the heart of Ribeira Brava.

Staged as an open-air event in the picturesque Ribeira Brava Town Square, the promotion featured the ISKA Women’s European Super-Flyweight K-1 Championship (53.5kg), attracting fans who witnessed an impressive display of elite international competition.

In the night’s main event, Portugal’s Andreia Conceição faced France’s Noemi Melgar for the vacant ISKA Women’s European Super-Flyweight title. Both athletes showcased excellent technique, determination, and high-paced action throughout the contest, but it was Conceição who consistently controlled the exchanges with her composed and effective striking.

After five competitive rounds, the judges awarded Andreia Conceição a unanimous decision victory, crowning the Portuguese fighter the new ISKA Women’s European Super-Flyweight Kickboxing Champion (53.5kg K-1 Rules).

Winning a continental title on home soil made the moment even more special for Conceição, whose performance delighted the local supporters and added another significant achievement to Portuguese kickboxing.
