ISKA Referee Course in Malaysia Strengthens Ring Sports & MMA Standards
The International Sport Kickboxing Association (ISKA) continues its global commitment to excellence with the successful completion of the ISKA Ring Sports & MMA Referee Course held on April 17th and 18th, 2026, in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Conducted during the WSM Tarung Arena Championship, the course was led by ISKA South East Asia & Malaysia Director, Mr. Khoo Meng Yang, bringing together dedicated officials focused on elevating the standards of officiating across the region.
Developing the Next Generation of Officials
This intensive referee course was designed to provide participants with the knowledge, structure, and practical experience required to officiate at a professional level. Covering both Ring Sports and MMA disciplines, the program emphasized rules, safety, positioning, decision-making, and consistency—key elements in ensuring fair and high-quality competition.
