Richard Hoehn, co-owner of Zen Life Center in Winter Springs, FL, won his second world title in self-defense against runner-up Leslie Fields at the U.S. Open in Orlando, Florida. He attributes his success to a combination of an intense physical fitness regiment, a diverse background in several martial arts, and a team that embraces real combat techniques and strategies.
At Zen Life Center, RichaWrd and his co-owner, and wife, Dr. Sheila Hoehn, work hard to provide a nurturing community built on positive virtues. He has two children, his son Kai and daughter Lily who has a rare disease called CRMO. Chronic reoccurring multifocal osteomyelitis. Together as a family, they use martial arts to fight against this challenging disease.
