Tokyo Japan 29th March Abema TV staged a press conference to announce a new deal with Japanese Kickboxing star Takeru a three division K-1 Champion. Takreu will make his European debut on MTGP Paris at Zenith Arena, 24th June 2023. Takeru will face ISKA World Champion Bailey Sugden to contest The ISKA World Lightweight title.
Sugden was present for the face-off and said he suspected Takeru had been protected by K-1 whereas Sugden himself has fought all over the world including a successful stint with GLORY Kickboxing where he was ranked No.3 and Just a few weeks ago defended his ISKA World title defeating ISKA European Champion Perdo Ruiz. Takeru as always said he planned to win by knockout. The main card will be Streamed live in Japan PPV on Abema TV, European Broadcasters will be announced shortly.
