ISKA is proud to announce the appointment of Brian Fuery and Hoss Coates as the Head Coaches for ISKA Team USA, members of which are scheduled to compete at the 2022 ISKA Amateur Association World Championships to be held Oct. 31st – Nov. 6th in Kemer, Turkey. ISKA could not possibly hope for more qualified leadership than Mr. Fuery and Mr. Coates.
Among Brian Fuery’s many accomplishments, this US Airforce veteran is 10x IBJJF and ISJJF world champion and Black Belt in Shotokan having coached legendary names like Rashad Evans, Matt Mitrione and Allistar Overeen. Hoss Coates is the owner of the Vicious Elite brand gym and apparel line. Born from a long line of boxers (his grandfather was a one-armed trainer!), he began wrestling at 5 and karate at 6. His love for the striking arts and passion for competition evolved throughout his life and has lead him to the great rewards of being a very high-level coach.
