Sydney, Australia 28th March 2021, the NSW Open (New South Wales) was the first in person Australian martial arts event for 2021 and had 800 individual competitors in 256 Tatami Sports divisions, including Traditional Forms, Weapons, Extreme forms and Weapons, Tricking, Sword Combat, Sumo, BJJ, Nogi Grappling, Point Sparring, Light Kick, Ring Karate and many others. Over all the event was a great success even running under strict covid19 safety protocols. The NSW Open launched our 2021 Tatami Sports competition season that will feature 20 events across Australia culminating in the 2021 Australian National Championship on the 5th December in Sydney.
