Glory Kickboxing Finishes the Year Stronger Than Ever

November 20th, 2019 – What a glorious year. With eight huge events already in the books this year, from Florida to France to Germany, Glory Kickboxing is finishing the year even stronger. Four more events are scheduled for the last six weeks of the year.

It kicks off in Chicago, with a huge double event, Weekend of GLORY, on November 23rd and 24th. First up on the 23rd is GLORY 71, featuring Anissa Meksen vs. Tiffany Van Soest. Up for grabs by these explosive strikers is the Women’s Super Bantamweight World Championship belt. Then on the 24th, it’s Petch vs. Vannostrand at GLORY 72. Petch is defending his Featherweight World Championship against the challenger Vannostrand. That’s two World Title fights in two days, back-to-back during the Weekend of GLORY.

Then from Chicago, it’s off to China for GLORY 73 Shenzen on December 7th. Elvis Gashi will try to strip the Lightweight World Title from the grasp of Marat Grigorian in a headliner you need to see. The undefeated Gashi (23-0, 11 KO) enters with a 5-0 record in GLORY, taking on veteran World Champion Grigorian (62-11-1, 35 KO).

Finally, two of the world’s best heavyweights collide in Arnhem. The long-awaited rematch of Rico ‘The King of Kickboxing’ Verhoeven and Badr Hari will take place in the Netherlands on December 21st. GLORY: COLLISION 2 is “the fight that everybody wanted,” said Verhoeven, who won their fight at GLORY: COLLISION in December of 2016 by TKO. Fans have clamored for this rematch ever since. It’s a battle that’s sure to end Glory’s spectacular year with an exclamation point.
