Following the Success of 2018, the 2019 ISKA Amateur Members Association World Championships in Cork, Ireland Could Be the Most Important Year

ISKA Worlds 2019 Ring Sports & Tatami Sports
15th to 19th October 2019
Neptune Stadium Cork City Republic of Ireland

The ISKA Amateur Members Association World Championships 2019 will be staged in Cork City, Republic of Ireland at the Neptune Stadium 15th to 19th October 2019 and will include both Ring Sports and Tatami Sports.

We did consider Brussels, Belgium for 2019 but unfortunately the Belgium Kickboxing Federation would not openly support an ISKA Amateur event for fear of a reprimand from WAKO who they also represent.

2018 has been the most successful year so far for the ISKA Amateur Member Association World Championships which included over 1200 competitors from 40 countries. The Ring Sports division was staged in Kiev, Ukraine with the support of the Mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klitscho former World Boxing and ISKA Kickboxing Champion and Mr Igor Zhdanov the Minister for Youth and Sport Ukraine. The Tatami Sports division was staged in Montego Bay, Jamaica with the support of the Jamaican Tourist Board. The Kiev Championships was opened by Vitaliy Klitscho and it was covered by six TV NEWS Channels. The finale of the Montego Bay Championships was an evening Gala show featuring selected finals and Team matches broadcast live by CVMTV in attendance was special guest, former undisputed World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Lennox Lewis. Ukraine topped the combine medal table with England second the USA third.

2019 could be the most important year for the ISKA Worlds, it has all the elements to make truly great World Championships that’s why I urge you the members to fully support the ISKA Worlds 2019 and bring your best teams to Cork City next October.
