Cashmore Aims for World Title

Wyong’s Professional Thai Boxing Champion, Mat CA$HY Cashmore is determined to become the Two Time World Light Welter Weight Thai Boxing Champion when he meets the veteran from Thailand, Ao Chuchuai.

The 35 year-old has cut no corners in his preparation for this prestigious bout. His elimination bout leading into this World Title Challenge was against another Thai Fighter with 97 fights under his belt. Cashmore dominated the fight with the Thai lasting just three rounds giving Cashmore the right to challenge for the World Title on 3rd March at Doyalson Wyee RSL.

Cashmore has a fight record of 42 Fights, 38 wins, and is known as an explosive fighter that delivers from the first bell. His style is best described as relentless and he is undoubtedly one of the most entertaining fighters you will see in action.

Not all is expected to go Cashmore’s way come March 3. The Thai, Ao Chuchuai is a veteran of 296 fights, with 253 wins. Chuchuai will not be overwhelmed by the one sided crowd, or the opponent across the ring. He has fought in the ‘Kings Cup’ an invitational event staged in front of a live audience of 95,000 people. He started competing when he was 6 years old, this is what he does, and this is all he knows.
